The year is 2024, and Chile and the world are trying to emerge from the consequences of a pandemic amidst a harsh economic crisis. In Concepción, Daniel (50) lives day by day, trying to navigate the challenges of adulthood. "EL LEÓN," tells a masculine story; Daniel struggles to stop repressing his feelings that arise after his father's death, job loss, his daughter's gender transition, and a reunion with youthful love. With each season, there is a new emotion to experience and the opportunity to reinvent the masculine role imposed by the era in which he was born and the one he is living through.

DIRECTOR'S BIO

Eduardo Villalobos Pino is a licensed audiovisual communicator with a degree in aesthetics and an Executive Producer of films such as "Sentados Frente al Fuego," "Matar a un Hombre," and "Mala Junta." As a director, he has directed the short films "Pulento" and "Eclipse 2020." "Reitoca, Sin Miedo" is his first feature-length documentary. He is currently working on his first fictional feature film titled "Piscola" and the series "El Leon."
