Espejo

Four groups of teenagers from four different regions of Guatemala carry out a theatrical interpretation of the trial that the former dictator of Guatemala, General Efraín Ríos Montt, who ruled between 1981 and 1982, underwent. In this trial, he was prosecuted for the genocide of the Maya-Ixil people.

DIRECTOR'S BIO

After years of traveling, studying, and various types of work across Europe, the United States, and Latin America, they shifted their focus to the philosophy of the audiovisual world, in which they have been exclusively involved since 2017. They have taken part in advertising, corporate, educational, and university-related productions, as well as personal documentary projects. Currently, they are in the editing stage of the feature-length documentary "In the Mirror," which is supported by the Ibermedia fund.
