Red Flowers

A group of young people in southern Chile are faced with the military coup of 1973 during an act of resistance. Detained, tortured and transferred to a concentration camp, they are put on trial where it is decided that two will be killed. Luis Cruz, the prison guard assigned to the prisoners 3 days before their execution, discovers he knows them both. In their final hours, Cruz defies the system and is able to bring the prisoners together in one final moment of solidarity. Forty-four years later, he becomes the narrator of this untold story.
